Guy Steinmetz

Guy Steinmetz has a strong background in quality assurance and management. Guy worked as a Regional Quality Assurance Manager at Samuel, Son & Co. from July 2019 to present. Prior to that, they held the same role at Ryerson from March 2012 to May 2019, where they also served as the Quality Assurance Manager & Safety Manager. Before joining Ryerson, Guy worked as a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer at Dresser-Rand - A Siemens Business from January 2011 to March 2012. Guy began their career at Moog Inc. in March 1987 as a Process Quality Engineer, where they remained until February 2008.

Guy Steinmetz earned a Master of Science degree in Applied and Mathematical Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology between the years of 1998 and 2002. Guy also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Mathematics and Technology with a field of study in Applied Physics from Empire State College SUNY. Additionally, they have a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a field of study in Mechanical Engineering from Erie Community College. Lastly, Guy Steinmetz completed their high school education at Orchard Park High School. Apart from their degrees, they have obtained certifications as an ISO 9001:2008 Lead Internal Auditor from ASQ in December 2010 and as a Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ in October 2003.
