Kartik Nijhawan Eit

Kartik Nijhawan, EIT, PMP has a diverse work experience in program management, project management, and engineering. Currently working at Samuel, Son & Co. as a Program Manager in the Operational Excellence Corporate Division, Kartik is responsible for managing projects and ensuring their successful completion.

Prior to this role, Kartik worked at Siemens as an Engineering Project Manager, where they managed projects from initiation to closure. Kartik effectively collaborated with various stakeholders, including R&D, manufacturing, procurement, suppliers, and quality engineering to execute project plans. Kartik also handled project trade-offs, scope changes, and resources to ensure timely project completion.

Earlier in their career, Kartik served as the Lead Project Engineer at BOMBARDIER, managing the workflow for multiple aircraft. Kartik successfully optimized the production line by implementing daily operations schedules, resource planning, and improving manufacturing processes. Additionally, Kartik had a role in the Program Management & Continuous Improvement team, where they initiated governance, defined KPIs, and implemented burn-down processes to reduce non-conformance backlog. Kartik also established cross-functional collaboration and presented business cases to upper management, vendors, and suppliers.

Kartik's expertise also extends to change management in the Electrical Wiring Integrated Systems field, where they played a crucial role at BOMBARDIER.

Kartik Nijhawan, EIT, PMP has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University. In addition, they have obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2023.
