Waylon Davault

Waylon Davault has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Waylon has been working as an Information Technology Security Analyst at Samuel, Son & Co. since 2022. Previously, they held the position of Team Lead - ITSM Ops Analyst at LafargeHolcim from November 2017 to January 2022, where they had various responsibilities including business relationship management, team leadership, application development, and Level 2 analyst support.

In 2017, they worked as a Technical Support Specialist at Washington University in St. Louis for a brief period from May to November. Prior to that, they were an Information Technology Specialist / Safety Manager at Wunderlich Box Company from September 2016 to May 2017. In this role, they supported production by maintaining and troubleshooting machines, implemented and maintained cloned copies of machine images, and revamped the VOIP system.

Waylon also served in the United States Air Force as a Client Systems Craftsmen/3D171 from August 2009 to August 2016. During their time in the Air Force, they configured workstations, printers, software, and operating systems, provided troubleshooting and support to end users, and demonstrated extensive knowledge in electronics systems, IT systems and network configuration, telecommunications, and test equipment. Waylon was recognized for their exceptional performance and awarded Airman of the Year in 2013.

Waylon Davault obtained an Associate's Degree in Information System Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they have acquired several certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in March 2021, the CompTia Security+ from CompTIA in November 2015, and the A+ certification, also from CompTIA, in March 2009.
