Miguel Angel U. has held several positions in the commercial sector since 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they were Supervisor Comercial at I.T.P. Impulse Telecom Del Peru S.A., where they were responsible for the commercial operation of credit card affiliation with Citibank. Miguel Angel then moved to Conserh as an Ejecutivo Comercial de Medios Digitales, where they were responsible for a multi-sectoral portfolio of clients and the administration of Prensa Popular. From 2008 to 2019, they worked for Grupo el Comercio - Perú, first as Sub Gerente Comercial de Publicidad Digital e Impresa, then as Supervisor Comercial de Cuentas Digitales, and finally as Key Account Manager - Área Comercial de Medios Digitales. During this time, they managed commercial functions, defined annual budgets and execution periods, detected new market opportunities, and provided commercial consultancy. Since 2019, they have held two positions simultaneously, Director comercial at Puntoo and Docente Gestión Comercial at Zegel Ipae. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed VP of Sales at SamyRoad.

Miguel Angel U. has a Licenciado en Publicidad y Comunicación from Universidad de Lima, obtained between 1992 and 2000. In 2011, they obtained a Diplomado in Marketing Digital from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. In 2011-2012, they attended Esden Business School and obtained a Máster en Dirección de Marketing Digital y Comunicación Empresarial en Internet. In 2012-2013, they attended University of Cambridge and obtained an International Diploma in Effective Business Communication. Additionally, Miguel Angel U. has obtained several certifications, including Certificación de Publicidad en Búsqueda de Google Ads from Google Ads in 2020, Adwords Fundamentals from Google Ads in 2019, Ventas de Publicidad Digital from Google Ads in 2018, Programa de Desarrollo de Competencias Gerenciales from Universidad del Pacífico (PE) in 2012, and Curso Web 2.0 y Herramientas para el Community Manager from IEBS in 2010.
