Melissa Manno

Melissa Manno is an experienced journalist currently serving as an Education Reporter for the San Antonio Express-News since August 2023. Previously, Manno worked as a Business Reporter for the Times Union from August 2022 to August 2023 and interned at Penn State Smeal College of Business, where responsibilities included writing press releases and collaborating on social media strategy. Additional experience includes roles as a News Reporter for the Centre Daily Times, an Editorial Intern at the Council on Foreign Relations, and a Communications Intern for Organizace pro pomoc uprchlíkům, z.s. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Penn State University, along with a short-term study abroad program in Renewable Energy at Reykjavik University and a high school diploma from Central Bucks HS-West.
