David Gallin-Parisi

David Gallin-Parisi is an experienced educator and librarian currently serving as the Assistant Manager and Librarian 2 at the San Antonio Public Library since March 2022. Simultaneously, David teaches as the lead 8th grade English Language Arts teacher at H B Zachry Middle School and has held the position of School Librarian at St. Anthony Catholic High School since August 2014. David also has a rich background in teen services from previous roles at the San Antonio Public Library and has provided music for various events as an artist with Boomshackalack Soundsystem since 2004. David holds a Masters in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and dual Bachelor's degrees in Art and English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additional experience includes roles in educational programming at the Rochester Art Center and library instruction at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
