Terry Jaqua

Terry Jaqua, PhD, MBA has extensive experience in human resources management. Terry currently serves as the Executive Director of Human Resources at San Antonio Regional Hospital since October 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Human Resources at Whittier Hospital Medical Center and San Dimas Community Hospital. Terry also worked as the Director of Human Resources at Desert Valley Hospital, Shasta Regional Medical Center, Montclair Hospital Medical Center, and Chino Valley Medical Center. Throughout their career, Terry has achieved notable accomplishments such as restructuring wages and salaries, implementing HRIS/payroll systems, and developing an employee engaged environment. Terry holds a PhD in Human Resources and an MBA.

Terry Jaqua, PhD, MBA, holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Science/Healthcare Administration from Trident University International. Additionally, they have a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Columbia Southern University. Terry's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, as well as an Associate of Science in Mathematics and an Associate of Arts in Biology from Riverside City College. Terry has also obtained various certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute in 2023, Law and Leadership in Healthcare Administration Certificate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2019, SHRM-Certified Professional from SHRM in 2015, and Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2014.
