Christopher Schmitzer

Christopher Schmitzer has extensive experience in product development for footwear, currently serving as the Head of Product Development at San Antonio Shoemakers since November 2018. Prior to this role, Christopher worked at Pentland Brands from July 2015 to September 2018 as the Lacoste Development Manager for Women's and Kid's footwear, overseeing the development teams and technical aspects of product creation. Christopher's career at adidas group spanned over a decade, starting as an Internship Footwear Materials and progressing through various roles, including Development & Commercialization Manager for fashion footwear and Manager of Footwear Development for the Originals category, where responsibilities included high-profile collaborations with designers like Jeremy Scott. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor in Industrial Design and Technology from Western Sydney University and certifications in Footwear Production from TAFE NSW.
