Joe Loomis

Joe joined the SS&E Family as senior director of finance in July 2016. He was named vice president of finance and technology in July 2020 after serving the past two years as vice president of finance. In his current role, Joe is responsible for all financial operations and reporting, cash management, payroll and related tax matters for SS&E. In addition, he oversees the organization’s IT and audio/visual departments, along with purchasing functions. Joe also manages the culinary partners at the AT&T Center and Toyota Field.

Prior to joining the Spurs, Joe was vice president of finance at Madison Square Garden for two years where he oversaw all financial aspects of the New York Knicks. Prior to his time at MSG he worked at the NBA league office for nine years in various finance capacities including associate vice president of team finance where he worked with all NBA teams on their league financial reporting and analysis.

Joe is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois, a master’s of science in management from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a master’s of science from Columbia University in sports management.
