Jenny Friend

Jenny Friend, CPA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at San Antonio Zoo, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jenny was Director of Treasury at Howard Energy Partners from July 2017 to July 2023 and at CST Brands, Inc. from April 2013 to June 2017, where responsibilities included global treasury operations and compliance. Jenny also worked as Treasury Manager at Clear Channel Communications from July 2009 to April 2013 and gained extensive experience as Audit Manager at Ernst & Young from July 2003 to July 2009, focusing on financial reporting and real estate accounting. Jenny holds both a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting from Texas McCombs School of Business, earned between 1998 and 2003.
