Amira Elmukhtar, M.Ed. has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2009, they worked as an Academic Intervention Specialist at Rocklin Academy and Western Sierra Collegiate Academy. During this time, they founded the Academic Support Program and achieved a 99% graduation rate for students enrolled in the program. Amira was also recognized as the Keynote Commencement Speaker for multiple graduating classes. From 2017 to 2022, Amira served as Principal/Director at Folsom Educational Academy. Following this, they worked as the Dean of Instruction at Amethod Public Schools from 2021 to the present. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks such as staff observation and instructional coaching, recruiting and evaluating school personnel, and conducting data analysis. Currently, Amira is working as the Community Schools Manager & Assistant Director at San Bruno Park School District.

Amira Elmukhtar, M.Ed. holds a Master of Science Education degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. Prior to attaining their master's degree, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Counseling Psychology from Jessup University in the years 2007 to 2009. Previously, they pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Early Childhood Education at Houston Community College.
