Robert Kowalewski

Robert Kowalewski is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in food service management and culinary operations. Currently serving as Executive Chef at San Carlos Apache Healthcare Corporation since September 2022, Robert previously held leadership roles including Nutrition Services Manager and Director of Food Services at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital NW Tucson. With a strong background in managing district kitchens for Sodexo and leading multi-unit operations as Executive Chef/owner of Kavo & Tunzi LLC, Robert has demonstrated expertise in menu planning, catering logistics, and compliance with food service regulations. Additional experience includes significant contributions at The Gregory College Prep School, Port A Pit Catering, Clarion Hotel Tucson Airport, and Ala Carte Entertainment, showcasing a diverse skill set in culinary arts, project management, and team leadership. Robert holds an Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts from Washburne Culinary School and has pursued studies in Psychology and Theology.
