Maggie Stewart

Maggie Stewart is an experienced educator currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at San Carlos School District since August 2014, where collaboration and resource utilization are key focus areas. Previously, Maggie contributed as an Edtech Fellow at Silicon Valley Education Foundation, enhancing technology use in personalized learning. Teaching in various settings, including Chicago Public Schools from 2008 to 2014, involved managing classrooms across multiple grade levels while implementing Common Core standards as an Early Adopter. Additionally, Maggie acted as a Connector between DePaul University’s Center for Urban Education and Chicago Public Schools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Reading Teacher Education from Concordia University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Illinois State University.
