Matt Thompson

Matt Thompson has extensive experience in the field of theatre and education, serving as an Adjunct Professor at San Diego Community College District and Southwestern Community College District since 2013, teaching a variety of theatre-related courses, both traditional and online. In addition, Matt has held the position of Assistant Show Supervisor at Sea World since 1994, overseeing creative and administrative elements for show productions. Previous roles include Education Director and Artistic Associate at North Coast Repertory Theatre, Associate Faculty at MiraCosta College, and Artistic Director at Compass Theatre. Matt has also contributed to the entertainment sector as a contracted Ship Board Artistic Director for Crystal Cruises. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in English (Creative Writing) from the University of California, Riverside, and a Master's degree in Theatre from San Diego State University.
