Rolando Giron

Rolando Giron is an experienced aviation professional and educator with a diverse background in both flying and computer science. Currently serving as a Captain at SkyWest Airlines since January 2019, Rolando has also held various academic positions, including Professor of Computer Science at San Diego Mesa College and previously at Palomar College and Grossmont College, where courses focused on programming languages and information systems. In addition to their teaching roles, Rolando is the owner of RRGSoftware, specializing in aviation and medical research software, and has served as IT Manager at Signtech Electrical Advertising, Inc. Rolando's earlier roles include management positions in the airline industry and proficiency in dispatch operations, complemented by academic credentials that include a Master's degree in Computer Science and ongoing doctoral studies in Counseling Psychology.
