Lezya Weglarz

Lezya Weglarz is an experienced professional in the field of education and school counseling, currently serving as a Project Specialist at the San Diego County Office of Education since January 2024. Additionally, Lezya is a Professional Development Specialist at HATCHING RESULTS, LLC since May 2021, and has held various leadership roles within the California Association of School Counselors Inc, including Director on the Board of Directors, Chairwoman, and Vice Chair. As an Adjunct Professor at San Diego State University since January 2020, Lezya shares expertise with students, while previously working as a Coordinator and School Counselor for the San Marcos Unified School District from June 2018 to December 2023. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Center for Excellence in School Counseling and Leadership and a Clinic Coordinator & Parent Liaison at Crimson Center for Speech Language Pathology. Lezya holds a Master's degree in School Counseling and PPS Credential from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA.
