Josette Ford

Josette Ford is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in strategic planning and policy advisory roles at the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department since 2007. As a Sheriff's Senior Policy Advisor, Josette leads the department's strategic planning initiatives, aligns budgetary objectives, and facilitates leadership development workshops. Josette has a strong background in crime and intelligence analysis, having previously managed and developed advanced analytical programs and teams, and contributed to national intelligence initiatives. Josette also serves as a course instructor on fiscal management and strategic planning, and has taken leadership positions in regional working groups and educational institutions, while holding various roles that support and enhance law enforcement operations. The educational qualifications include a Master of Public Policy from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from The George Washington University. Josette is also noted for participation in executive education at the Yale School of Management.
