Theresa Cunningham

Theresa Cunningham, MA, PHR, is currently serving as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion & Community Engagement at San Diego Tourism Authority. Previously, Theresa held leadership roles at Reality Changers, California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative, YNPN San Diego, University of San Diego, Teach For All, and UNESCO International Institute for Capacity Building in Africa. With a background in International Relations and International Educational Development, Theresa has extensive experience in strategic initiatives, talent and organizational development, partner engagement, and research. Theresa is dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in various organizations and sectors.
