Caitlin Smith is a Senior Compliance Advisor in Transmission Grid Operations and Project Manager for Wildfire Mitigation at San Diego Gas & Electric since February 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Officer in Charge for the Reserve MSC Cargo Afloat Rig Team and Watch Captain in the US Navy from October 2021 to September 2024. Caitlin also worked as an Information Technology Project Manager at Axiologic Solutions LLC and held various leadership roles in the US Navy from 2011 to 2021, including Co-Director of the Commander's Action Group and Fire Control Division Officer. Earlier, Caitlin was an Associate Store Manager at Tesla, where the location achieved the highest sales outside California in Q4 2018. Educational qualifications include an MBA and an MS in Information Technology Management from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Northeastern University.
