Matt Bartels

Matt Bartels is an accomplished professional with extensive leadership experience in both military and civilian sectors. Currently serving as the Planning & Service Order Team Manager and Program Manager for Commercial EV & Rule 45 at San Diego Gas & Electric since December 2022, Bartels also works as a Project Consultant for the University of Southern California. Notably, Bartels held the position of City Commissioner for the Parks & Recreation Department in Carlsbad, CA, and has a distinguished career in the United States Marine Corps, where roles included Executive Officer and Operations Officer, overseeing thousands of personnel and significant budgets.
