Perla Cuevas-Guizar

Perla Cuevas-Guizar currently serves as the Director of Operations and Compliance at Kennedy & Souza, APC, beginning in July 2024, and as an Executive Board Member for the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce since February 2024. In addition, Perla holds the position of Vice President of Programs and Education at the San Diego Paralegal Association and has been an Instructor at San Diego State University since January 2022. Perla previously managed regional operations at Tyson & Mendes and worked as a Litigation Paralegal at Paul, Plevin, Sullivan & Connaughton LLP. With a background in supporting legal and human resources functions, Perla has also contributed to the San Diego Hospitality Human Resources Association as a Board Member and volunteered at Al Otro Lado, providing legal services to migrants. Perla's academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, a Paralegal Certification from UC San Diego, and Management Essentials training from Harvard Business School.
