Brian Balderston

Brian Balderston is the current Director of Infrastructure for Research Data Services at the San Diego Supercomputer Center. Brian has been in this role since January 2011. Prior to that, they served as Deputy Director of IT Systems and Services for the same organization from January 2007 to December 2010. Brian has also worked as a systems engineer for the University of California, San Diego from January 2007 to December 2011.

Brian Balderston studied management science at UC San Diego.

Their manager is Winston Armstrong, Chief Information Security Officer. Brian Balderston works with and Mai Nguyen - Lead, Data Analytics.
