Kenneth Yoshimoto

Kenneth Yoshimoto attended California Institute of Technology, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He completed a Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences in the department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at University of California, Irvine. The project was a study of viral gene expression. After a short term as a postdoctoral scholar in a lab studying cellular senescence at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, he joined the staff of Maui High Performance Computing Center. A move to San Diego resulted in work at Science Applications Internation Corporation, then San Diego Supercomputer Center. Kenneth worked at the Center for Computational Biology at Montana State University in Bozeman, before returning to San Diego Supercomputer Center, where he is currently a computational scientist in the Applications group.
