Duke MacKle

Duke Mackle is a dedicated educational professional with extensive experience in teaching and coaching. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at San Dieguito Union High School District since August 2021, Duke also works as a Lifeguard and Junior Lifeguard Instructor for California State Parks since June 2015. Duke has been an Assistant Coach for football and wrestling at La Costa Canyon High School since August 2019. Duke's educational pursuits include completing mastery of Teaching Performance Expectations (TPEs) at National University, focusing on effective teaching strategies and student engagement, and undertaking simulated teaching experiences. Previously, Duke worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at San Dieguito Union High School District from October 2020 to June 2021. Duke holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Linfield University and is currently pursuing a Single Subject Teaching Credential at National University, expected to complete in May 2024.
