Senior Director, Business Strategy & Analytics at San Francisco 49ers

Alison Lu is the Senior Director of Business Strategy and Analytics for the San Francisco 49ers. Alison has been with the 49ers organization for five years, starting as a Manager of Business Strategy and Analytics in June 2017. In their current role, Alison oversees the Business Strategy and Analytics team, which acts as the “internal consulting” department for the SF 49ers business operations.

Alison’s team works across departments on projects that drive revenues, improve fan satisfaction, and grow the SF 49ers brand. Some of the areas they focus on include concessions, ticketing, non-NFL events, analytics, and tailgating/Mina. In their time with the 49ers, Alison has helped to implement new programs and technology to improve the food & beverage experience at Levi’s Stadium, set dynamic ticket pricing strategies, secure contracts with non-NFL events, and develop efficient sales leads and prospecting from data warehouses.

Prior to joining the 49ers, Alison worked in management consulting for Deloitte and Monitor Group. Alison has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Alison Lu received their Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and their Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Yale University. Alison also attended San Francisco University High School.

They are on a team with and Umesh Johari - VP, Business Strategy & Analytics. Jonathan Dalsey - Analyst, Business Intelligence Strategy, Max Kahn - Analyst, Business Intelligence report to Alison Lu. Alison Lu reports to Moon Javaid, Chief Strategy Officer.
