Ryan van Maarth has had an extensive and diverse work experience. In their most recent position as Vice President of Stadium Operations and Strategic Planning at the San Francisco 49ers, they are responsible for managing the operations and planning of the stadium. Prior to that, Ryan held various roles at the Seattle Mariners, including Senior Director of Construction and Planning, where they oversaw major capital projects and worked with external stakeholders. Ryan also served as the Director of Engineering, leading a team to ensure a safe and pleasant fan experience at the stadium. Before their time with the Mariners, Ryan worked at Atkinson Construction as a Project Manager and Project Engineer, managing large-scale infrastructure projects. Ryan began their career in the United States Air Force, where they held positions as Captain and First Lieutenant, responsible for logistics and management of personnel and equipment.

Ryan van Maarth attended Burlington High School from 1994 to 1998, where they earned their high school diploma. Ryan then went on to the United States Air Force Academy from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Following that, they attended the University of Arkansas from 2003 to 2004, earning a Master of Science degree in Operations Management.
