Valerie Alexander

Val Alexander, CPP, is a highly experienced payroll professional currently serving as Payroll Manager for the San Francisco 49ers since January 2021. Concurrently, Val holds a position as Adjunct Professor teaching Payroll Accounting at Sacramento City College and has been a National Speaker for the American Payroll Association since 2008, facilitating seminars nationwide. Val also authored the California Payroll Guide, providing expertise on payroll compliance within the state. Previous roles include Corporate Payroll Manager for McClatchy Newspapers, Global Payroll Manager at VSP, and Payroll Manager at Purple Language Services Co., among others. Val's educational background includes studies at Sacramento City College, American River College, and California State University-Sacramento.
