Jim French

Jim French has been a lighting supervisor at the San Francisco Ballet since 2019. Jim has also worked as a lighting designer for various companies, including Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Ballet West, San Francisco Ballet, BANDALOOP, Mills College, Joe Goode Performance Group, and PH Productions. In addition to their work in lighting design, Jim has also served as a production stage manager and lighting supervisor for touring productions of The Rambler.

Jim French reports to Christopher Dennis, Production Director. They are on a team with Thomas Richards-Keyes - Head of Hair & Make-up, Kate Share - Manager of Wardrobe, Wig, Makeup, and Costume Construction, and Kenneth M. Ryan - Master of Properties.
