Susan Diamond

Susan Diamond is an accomplished legal and community leader with extensive experience in nonprofit representation and urban planning. Currently serving as a Board Member for the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living and Congregation Emanu-El, Susan also holds the position of San Francisco Planning Commissioner, with an upcoming role as President until August 2024. Previously, Susan led the Law Offices of Susan R. Diamond, P.C., from 2011 to 2021, focusing on real estate development for nonprofits. An advocate for community service, Susan has held board positions for various organizations, including Mercy Housing California and the Jewish Community Federation. Susan's academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Harvard Law School, a Master of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science from Stanford University.
