San Francisco City Attorney's Office
Jonathan David Sanchez Leos is a law fellow at the San Francisco City Attorney's Office since September 2024, with prior experience as an Eisenhower Fellow since 2019, participating in a program in China. Legal experience includes roles as a legal extern for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services representing various agencies, a judicial extern with the Supreme Court of California, and a juvenile expungement legal intern at Legal Aid Chicago. Additional legal internships were completed at the AIDS Legal Referral Panel and the American Film Institute. Jonathan served as a Fulbright-Clinton Fellow and special advisor in Ukraine, and held multiple positions within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, including senior policy analyst. As a visiting professor at St. Augustine College, Jonathan contributed to the education of social work students. Jonathan holds a Doctor of Law from Golden Gate University, a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Slavic Languages and Literatures with a minor in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
