Michael Tsukerman

Michael (Misha) Tsukerman is a legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the judicial and public service sectors. Currently serving as a Deputy City Attorney at the San Francisco City Attorney's Office since March 2022, Michael has previously held attorney positions at the California Coastal Commission and worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for U.S. District Courts in California and Hawaii. Additionally, Michael gained experience as an Associate in Complex Litigation at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and contributed to legal scholarship as a Research Fellow at the California Constitution Center at UC Berkeley. Michael's background also includes roles as a Summer Associate and Judicial Extern, along with experience in advocacy for the Reuniting Families Campaign at Asian Americans Advancing Justice. Michael earned a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley, after completing a BA in History and Asian American Studies at UCLA.
