Bob Fryer has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Bob started their career as a Law Clerk/Attorney at La in 1986 before becoming a Judicial Law Clerk at Hamilton County (Ohio) Court of Common Pleas in 1987. Bob then worked as a Corporate Counsel at North American Mortgage Company from 1990 to 1995, where they handled commercial loan and financing agreements, real estate leases, and software licensing agreements.
In 1996, Bob transitioned to the field of law enforcement and worked as a Police Officer at the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) for a year. Bob then joined North American Mortgage Company/Washington Mutual Bank in 1997 as a Mortgage Loan Officer and successfully originated over 1000 mortgage loans, receiving sales awards and participating in an exclusive FNMA REO financing program.
From 2005 to 2016, Bob served as the Lending Operations Manager at Redwood Credit Union, overseeing the integration and management of real estate and consumer lending departments, as well as the transition to a new mortgage loan origination system.
Currently, Bob Fryer holds the position of Vice President Real Estate at SF Fire Credit Union since 2016. In this role, they manage all aspects of the full-service real estate lending department, exceeding production and loan growth goals by significant margins.
Throughout their career, Bob has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing lending operations, legal matters, and achieving results in the real estate and mortgage industry.
Bob Fryer has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, which they obtained from Hanover College between 1979 and 1983. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at the University of Cincinnati, College of Law from 1983 to 1986. In 1996, they attended the Santa Rosa Junior College - Police Academy, where they obtained a POST Basic Law Enforcement Academy Certificate in the field of Law Enforcement.
