Fernando Perez

Director Of Video Coaching at San Francisco Giants

Fernando Perez has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Fernando is currently the Director of Video Coaching for the San Francisco Giants, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Video Coaching Analyst for the same organization from January 2021 to February 2022. In 2020, they were a part of the media strategy Launch Team for CanopyCollective.

Before joining the Giants, Perez held various positions in freelance work. From 2013 to 2021, they worked as a Talent for their self-employed freelance career. Additionally, they gained experience as an On Air Talent for MSG Networks Inc. from June 2019 to June 2020, and as an Onscreen Talent, TV Host, Correspondent, and Documentary Narrator for VICE Media from December 2015 to 2018. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Writer for VICE Media from January 2015 to January 2017.

Perez's experience also includes being an Educator for The School of The New York Times from June 2016 to May 2020, and an On Air Talent for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. from August 2018 to October 2019. Fernando Perez earned a Bachelor's degree in American Studies/Creative Writing from Columbia University between the years 2001 and 2005.
