Matt Simpson has diverse work experience in the sports and analytics industry. Matt currently holds the position of Director, Business Analytics at the San Francisco Giants, where they previously served as Sr. Manager, Business Analytics. In these roles, they utilized data analysis to identify trends and patterns, developed internal systems for customer insight, and conducted survey and email campaigns. Prior to their time at the Giants, Matt worked at Maloof Sports & Entertainment as a New Business Development Representative, where they coordinated membership benefits and managed ticket sales. Matt also served as President of the Harvard Sports Marketing Club and worked as a Football Office Assistant at Harvard University.
Matt Simpson earned a Bachelor of Arts (A.B) degree in Government in 2011 from Harvard University. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Business Analytics: From Data to Insights from Wharton Executive Education.
