Tim Kempf

Tim Kempf, PE, LEED AP, serves as a Senior Project Manager at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) since July 2024, overseeing project teams and managing the full project life-cycle for complex facilities, while communicating performance to diverse audiences. Prior to this role, Tim held the position of Senior Project Manager at San Francisco Public Works from July 2016 to July 2024, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Tim's experience also encompasses roles as Project Manager at BART from December 2013 to July 2016, Construction Project Manager at Jacobs from March 2012 to December 2013, and Construction Project Manager at AECOM from December 2008 to March 2012, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects. Tim began a career in construction management as a Construction Manager at HNTB from July 2001 to December 2008, responsible for managing multiple significant bridge construction projects. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Marquette University.
