Steven Dye

Steven Dye has over two decades of experience at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), serving as Collections Technical Manager since December 1995, where responsibilities include the installation, care, and maintenance of media artworks. Previously, Dye held the position of Exhibitions Technical Manager and provided audiovisual support in the Phyllis Wattis Theatre as an Audio Visual Technician. In addition to work at SFMOMA, Dye has been an artist with dyemark and a founding member of Wet Gate, a 16mm Projector Orchestra, since 1995. As a member of Epic[abridged] since 2002, Dye contributes as a performer, arranger, and musician. Dye holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film/Video/Performance from California College of the Arts, completed in 1990.
