Joshua Raphael has a diverse work experience in the field of data analysis and technology. Joshua started their career at Kaiser Permanente in 2004, where they held several roles including Consulting Data Analyst and Sr. Consulting Data Analyst. In these positions, they provided technical support, conducted reporting and analysis, and created and maintained reports and databases using various software programs. Joshua also worked as a Data Consultant, where they provided technical support for Financial Services and created and supported online central Cognos repositories to enhance company efficiency. From 2012 to 2014, Joshua worked as a System Architect in the National Compliance Office at Kaiser Permanente. In 2014, they joined the City & County of San Francisco - Police Department as the Director of Business Intelligence and Geospatial Technology.
Joshua Raphael received their Bachelor's degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, attending from 2000 to 2003. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of California at Berkeley Extension, where they completed five required SAS classes within two years to earn a Certificate in Using the SAS System from 2004 to 2006. In 2016, Joshua obtained a certification as a Crime and Intelligence Analyst from California State University-Sacramento, specializing in Criminal Intelligence.
