Adam Birka-White is an experienced attorney specializing in public defense, currently serving as a Deputy Public Defender at the San Francisco Public Defender's Office since August 2023. Prior to this role, Adam held the same title at the Contra Costa County Public Defender from November 2022 to August 2023, and at the Los Angeles County Public Defender from March 2017 to April 2022. Adam holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, earned between 2012 and 2015, as well as a Master of Public Policy from American University, obtained from 2009 to 2011. Adam completed undergraduate studies at Kenyon College, receiving a B.A. in English Language and Literature from 2003 to 2007.
