Bernadette Lim

Bernadette Lim, MD, MS, is the Founder and Executive Director of Freedom Community Clinic, where the focus is on Whole-Person Healing for marginalized communities through the integration of holistic and Western medical practices. In addition, Lim serves as a faculty member at San Francisco State University’s Institute for Holistic Health Studies and co-founded the Institute for Healing and Justice in Medicine. Previous roles include creator and co-host of the Woke WOC Docs podcast, founder and executive director of Women SPEAK, and contributions to various organizations such as the U.S. Department of State and Harvard University, where Lim authored the "2015 Report on the Status of Women and Girls in Boston." Lim holds an MD from the University of California, San Francisco, an MSc in Health and Medical Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Human Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University.
