Guisselle Nunez is currently the AVP of Strategic Marketing and Communications at San Francisco State University. Guisselle has over 20 years of experience in marketing communications, public relations and government relations.

Nunez began their career in community college marketing and communications in 2000. Guisselle spent 15 years at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District, where they ultimately became the Director of Public Relations, Marketing and Government Relations. In this role, they were responsible for communicating the value of a community college education to prospective students and the community. Guisselle successfully led annual, multi-million dollar marketing campaigns that helped the district reach their enrollment targets.

Nunez is also a state-wide coach and task force member for The Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative (IEPI) Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Applied Solutions Kit (ASK-SEM) and SEM Academy. Guisselle has been recognized with annual regional and national awards by the Community College Public Relations Organizations (CCPRO), and the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR).

Guisselle Nunez has a MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from Golden Gate University and a BA in Guisselle'story and Italian from Santa Clara University. Guisselle also has a certification from University of Phoenix in Innovator's Accelerator.
