San Francisco Symphony
Matthew Searing currently serves as Assistant Librarian at the San Francisco Symphony, a position held since August 2023. In addition, Searing has been the National Youth Orchestra Librarian for Carnegie Hall since June 2018, and previously worked as Assistant Librarian for The Florida Orchestra from July 2021 to August 2023. Additional experience includes roles as Associate Principal Librarian at Sarasota Orchestra, Library Fellow at New World Symphony, and Head Librarian at Aspen Music Festival and School. Searing's education comprises a Master of Music from the University of Maryland College Park and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from Montclair State University.
