Sean Mearns

Sean Mearns is a seasoned professional in soccer operations, currently serving as the Manager of Team Administration at the San Jose Earthquakes Soccer since January 2012. Mearns oversees the daily operations of the soccer operation staff and played a crucial role in establishing protocols for teams during the 2020 MLS Is Back Bubble. Previously, Mearns held the position of Team Administrator, facilitating logistics for visiting teams including high-profile international clubs, and managing essential catering services. Mearns began the career in soccer operations as a Soccer Operations Intern, assisting in logistics for players and their families. In earlier roles, Mearns demonstrated leadership and training skills as a Swim Instructor, and experience in coordination and support in educational and community settings during time at Brigham Young University and as a Volunteer Representative for the LDS Church. Mearns holds a B.A. in Political Science from Brigham Young University, complemented by Spanish studies.
