The Leadership Team at the San José Fire Department (SJFD) is responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, and overall departmental oversight to ensure efficient and effective fire and emergency services. This team of senior officials, including the Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, and various Battalion Chiefs, collaborates to formulate policies, manage high-hazard occupancies, oversee emergency medical services and training, and guide the department in fulfilling its mission to protect life, property, and the environment.
