Senior Geographic Information Systems Specialist at San José Mineta International Airport (SJC)

Sirisha Muppala, GISP, is a Senior Geographic Information Systems Specialist with extensive experience in GIS and water resources engineering. Currently at San José Mineta International Airport since 2016, Sirisha leads a team focused on the digital transformation and visualization of airport infrastructure and asset data, ensuring its integration into GIS with spatial context. Previously, Sirisha worked as a Water Resources Scientist at HDR Engineering Inc. from 2005 to 2010, specializing in hydrology and hydraulic modeling for various flood control projects. Sirisha also served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, gaining skills in stormwater analysis and engineering software. Sirisha holds a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from South Dakota Mines and a Post Graduate Program in Data Science & Business Analytics from Texas McCombs School of Business.
