Maria Gutierrez

Maria Gutierrez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IT and education. Currently serving as the Infrastructure & Security Manager and Senior Business Analyst for the City of Durango since June 2021, Maria manages the ERP system and oversees process development and maintenance. Concurrently, Maria is an Adjunct Instructor at San Juan College, teaching CompTIA certifications and mentoring students. Previous roles include IT Support Specialist II for the City of Farmington, Systems Analyst I for the City of Durango, and Computer Teacher at Farmington Municipal Schools. Maria's career began at Verint Video Solutions in technical support, and spans various positions in the IT sector. Maria holds an MBA from New Mexico Highlands University, among other degrees in Computer Science and Education, and has received multiple teaching awards.
