Michele Truby-Tillen

Michele Truby-Tillen serves as the Community Development Director for San Juan County since December 2020 and has been an Adjunct Instructor at San Juan College since September 2012, focusing on community learning initiatives. Previously, Michele held the position of Floodplain Manager at the San Juan County Office of Emergency Management from February 2005 to December 2020, and worked as a Health Promotion Specialist for the New Mexico Department of Health from 2002 to 2005, contributing to community program development and serving on the board of Totah Behavioral Health. Michele holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Grand Canyon University (2019-2020), a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Fort Lewis College (1992-1996), and an Associate of Science in Psychology from San Juan College.
