David McGrew, CPA, CHFP has extensive experience in the financial management of healthcare organizations. David served as the Chief Financial Officer at San Mateo Medical Center, where they led all financial activities for a $350 million organization. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital System, where they provided executive leadership for multiple change initiatives and performance improvement activities. David McGrew, CPA, CHFP has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from San Francisco State University's Lam Family College of Business, which they obtained from 1981 to 1985. David also attended Pacific Grove High School, graduating in 1976. In terms of additional certifications, David obtained the title of Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy in August 1987. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified Healthcare Financial Professional designation from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in November 2014, as well as the Certified Revenue Cycle Representative certification from the HFMA in July 2017.
