Rachel Hurd

Rachel Hurd is the Vice President of the Board of Education at San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Rachel has previously worked as a volunteer Barton tutor at Country Club Elementary School, Decoding Dyslexia CA, and Citizens for Quality Schools. Rachel has been a part of the San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs since 2015.

Rachel Hurd earned a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Davis. Rachel also holds certifications from the Consortium on Reaching Excellence in Education (CORE) in online reading academy and from the Educator Learning Lab in reading fluency.
