Karen Smegal-Butler is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in operations, recruiting, sales, and customer relations within the hospitality and tourism industry. Karen currently serves as the Director of Operations at Sana at Stowe and has held various management positions at luxury resorts and spas such as The Essex, The Sagamore, and Turning Stone Resort Casino. Karen is also well-versed in massage therapy and program coordination. Karen holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Communications from Northern Vermont University-Lyndon and is currently pursuing a Hospitality & Tourism Management Certificate from Florida Atlantic University.
