Garret D.'s work experience begins with their current role as Lead Product Designer at Sana, which they started in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Product Designer at Eden Health from March 2022 to August 2022.

From 2020 to 2022, Garret held multiple roles at Kohl's, starting as a Senior Product Designer before transitioning to a Design Manager role. As a Design Leader, they focused on setting and communicating the vision and strategy for the domain, as well as supporting teams without dedicated design resources.

Before their time at Kohl's, Garret worked as a Senior Product Designer at Pivotal Labs from August 2018 to October 2020. In this role, they led the design process on various client projects and drove organizational change to bring valuable solutions to life.

Garret's earliest work experience includes roles as a UX Designer at Anova Culinary and freelance UX Designer. During their time at Anova Culinary, they used user research data to generate empathy and create solutions within an iterative and agile framework.

Garret D. has a diverse educational background. In 2000, they graduated from Littleton High School with a High School Diploma, where they focused on theater studies. From 2005 to 2006, they attended Metropolitan State University of Denver, where they further pursued their passion for theater. In 2009, Garret D. started studying Environmental Design at the University of Colorado Boulder, but their education in this field concluded in 2010. In 2016, they attended General Assembly, specializing in User Experience Design through their immersive program.
